I would NEVER recommend the Wendys in Swansea Massachusetts. The manager Matt and staff should be immediately replaced or this restaurant should be closed indefinitely. First, I have diabetes and must be very careful with how much sugar I consume, and I requested a large diet coke, this was all I ordered and young male working drive thru repeated it twice. He handed me my soda with a bizzare smirk on his face, I said "thank u", he said nothing. My vision became very blurry and it was very frightening trying to get home, I realized the drink given was pure sugar and not diet at all, I reported this immediately to location and the person who took call bahaved as if it were a joke. I filed complaint with corporate, then manager Matt stated he was sorry for the "mistake" and offered two free combos. Unfortunately he showed NO interest in the employee who I felt had intentionally neglected to properly fulfill order in spite of me stating I could point the male employee out. So, Matt told me my order was ready at the counter and I saw how truly disingenuine he was as a manager and human being. He had his back turned facing his nasty employees and was making offensive faces and eye movements, could he not realize I stood off to the side watching his ridiculous and immature behavior?? So I get home and realize they had the audacity to wrap and give me frozen and raw food! I microwaved burger to be able to break meat open to take photos, even after doing so meat was still very red and raw. I immediately called store and he could not care less and said there was nothing further he could do, why, because most likely he already knew what the employees had done. This is a blatant violation of food safety laws and in our opinion both acts were criminal putting a customer at substantial harm, first by knowingly and maliciously not giving a customer a consumable product ordered as requested due to a chronic and serious medical condition, and then by maliciously giving a customer frozen and raw meat. No one handling/preparing/serving food anywhere has any right to cause potential or actual physical harm to a customer no matter their age or fast food establishment or elsewhere. They should face full repercussion accordingly. We will be taking this further and others should do the same if they feel they have been victimized.
Always prefer Wendy's over the other two chains... Even though it took me a while to accept the concept of a square burger, and get over the loss of not being able to go there EVERY day to eat my chicken blt salad with my light vinaigrette dressing because first they changed it, then they discontinued it, I guess because the new one with carrots and fruit and under ripe cherry tomatoes, minus bacon didn't end up selling well.
I don't like to complain but we got there early, a little before 11 am. They must've had a slow start, we had to wait close to 10 minutes for our food. When they gave it to us they said it would be hot but it was luke warm
Standard Wendy's. It's better than mcdonalds, and it's cheap. The restaurant is nice and clean, good was relatively fresh and the bathrooms were clean.
If this is the one near the Swansea mall then I hope to god it's a training store because the staff there is SO nice. Back in the days when I ate fast food i would go there and they were always so pleasant.
