Great food, very friendly staff. Be sure to take home some delicious sweet bread or pastries from the bakery, after you've enjoyed your breakfast or lunch. I recommend the chouriço hash, a delicious Portuguese twist on the traditional corned beef hash. The chouriço hash is great on the eggs Benedict! Cornerstone tends to be busy due to the terrific food, so don't be surprised if there is a wait, or that it's a little noisy. A great, must-try place!
My wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast today. We're not normally in Swansea but we had to go for Cub Scout uniforms for our son's. This wasn't far away and looked promising. Once we were seated we waited a while for anyone to check on us. We had two people ask if we wanted coffee before our waitress came and took our drink order. She was Ms Personality. She brought the drinks and leaves without taking our food order or even asking if we were ready. When she finally made her way back to us, she asked us if we've "decided yet". As if we were taking up her time and weren't ready. Not "what would you like?" or something similarly polite. Her rude attitude continued throughout. That being said, the food was pretty good. I won't be going back because of the service though.
Delicious pastries at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend their sweet bread and chourico rolls!
The waitress and staff were lovely, the food not so much. Perhaps it's just me, but the bacon tasted funny, borderline bad...? I didn't eat it and, no, I didn't complain. The coffee was great, my French toast tasted like the grill. I probably won't be back.
Went here for breakfast. The eggs were not scrambled and had a rubber consistency. They looked as if they were cooked as an omelet and then folded on top of itself. Pancakes tasted like baking powder and were flat, not fluffy. Also, the cream is kept out on the tables and not replaced after each customer which seems unsanitary. Only giving 2 stars because the home fries were really good.
