The entire staff at Specht was always friendly!
I was amazed at the superior treatment I got at Specht because, several months earlier, I had gone to a different physical therapy practice for a different problem and had a very different experience. The office staff there was friendly, but I often felt I was just another body that had walked through the door, and was given exercises to do on my own with little or no supervision, often having to go and find a therapist or assistant to help me.
One of the measures is range of motion for a knee replacement with 90 degrees being a normal sitting position. Mike gently but firmly let me get to 122 degrees without the wincing pain and proceeded to "fix" the rest of me so that I am back playing golf and climbing stairs without any problems.
Started with the expectation of pain and little progress. Got just the opposite from Mike King - virtually no pain and a great deal of progress.

I was extremely happy with my experience at Specht PT. I have been to many other PTs in the past and this was the first time that I actually had positive results. Greg and the other PTs are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and conscientious in their work. I started at Specht PT with back pain that made it even hard to walk and thanks to the exercises Greg prescribed, I was back to running with no pain. The office staff is also very helpful and competent. I would recommend Specht PT without hesitation.

I feel extremely fortunate that Mike King was assigned as my PT in Swansea. I suffered a severe break in my upper arm and the prognosis from the doctor was not very optimistic. Throughout all of my visits Mike was totally supportive with his encouraging attitude and professional care. Mike had a keen sense of my needs and how much I could endure. He kept my spirits up during very difficult times and managed to make my visits enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike King to anyone.

My therapist was Mike King, and he was always gentle, caring, respectful and so positive. This is a place where the staff is so friendly and seems really committed to providing the best possible experience for the patients. I always felt that I mattered.

I can not say enough about my experience at Specht Physical Therapy in Swansea, from the receptionist to the therapists!! Brendan, my therapist, was phenomenal!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and is excellent at what he does!! He not only took his time helping me with my issue, he also took the time to get to know me personally, as I did him....he didn't make it all "business" or a "stuffy" environment. We laughed and joked all while getting "the job done." I hope I never need to return to PT, but if I do, I am coming back to Specht and requesting Brendan!! Thank you Brendan for all you did for me during my healing process....I wish you all the luck in the world with all you do!!
